REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

'Ken Clarke, who political fantasists said could be an interim PM in the place of Corbyn to ‘stop Brexit’ will vote for Boris Johnson’s deal. It’s very hard to see how people who repeat this utter nonsense will end up on the winning side.'

Letwin passes. Thank fuck.

But now BJ says he doesn't have to negotiate a delay with the EU, despite the law compelling him to do so. The spectacular dickwad.

That was good right? But then he just said he’s going to ignore it anyway?

He says a lot of things. He'll request the extension tonight and the EU will agree to it.

It means they can get to scrutinise it now and get their shit together in terms of possible amendments like 2nd ref or whatever.

Labour MPs who voted against Letwin: Kevin Barron
Ronnie Campbell
Jim Fitzpatrick
Caroline Flint
Kate Hoey
John Mann

17 Independents including:
Rory Stewart
Ian Austin
Frank Field
Kelvin Hopkins
Ivan Lewis
John Woodcock

At least it means the perfect De Pfeffel record now increases to 0-9

He could have won that vote on his deal today but threw his toys out of the pram. Most bizarre.

I think that he has two victories now, one from earlier this week and one a few weeks ago that he didn’t want to win.

According to Donald Tusk, Alex the great has stated that the letter that he said he’d never send is about to be sent.

2 additional letters sent as well. One basically is a request to ignore letter 1.

Petulant tosser. He must know how he's coming across.

So, the main letter was just a photo copy of the text put in the Benn Act, unsigned. Letter 2 was telling the EU they have to send this letter and the 3rd one was Boris saying he disagrees with letter 1 so the EU should do the same.

Interesting to see how the Court in Scotland on Monday sees his actions.

What a knobhead. The kind of thing that would be beneath most 11 year olds. Bet Cummings loved it.

The EU will just ignore the other letters, and consider the first to be a legitimate extension request.

The rest is theatre

Crying about the press again rather than looking at themselves.

Corbyn acolytes make me laugh.
