REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

A) tredman, look above.

B) usually people who bang the "he is left wing" drum, like you.

C) you are making assumptions that anyone that may be sympathetic to the policies of the Labour party are "blindly following" and therefore ironically, make sweeping statements.
Err, no I didn't. Take a read again.

So you're saying I'm scared of policies?

Some assumption that. I also said 'in my experience' which is what makes it the opposite of a sweeping statement. You could argue I haven't met enough Corybinistas or Momrntum members and you'd be right but you haven't.

Of course you can continue being wrong. But it hides that you really don't want to discuss the fact your leader is unelectable and why.

I don't know what you are, I don't know enough about you. But looking at a handful of your statements today you seem to have bought into media narratives whilst simultaneously saying "no this is my opinion honest".

Yes. Justify your ridiculous statement.
English not your first language?

I was saying that, in the opinion of Corbyn fanbois, anyone disagreeing with him is a fascist.

If you think that means I am saying he is a fascist then I don't really know what to say.

So you don't know enough about me but you're saying I'm scared of policies and have bought into the media narrative.

Along with Tredman's statement you're having a shocker here.

You have however reinforced my opinion on Momentum members. So well done there.

So in a week when Johnson has expelled MPs for disagreeing with him you go down this road?

People call out people for being fascist, usually when they are erm...being fascist. Our current PM (and the Tories) have very definitely shown fascist traits this week and deserves those calls.

You think I'm a momentum member! :)

You really aren't as clever as you think you.

I joined the Labour Party after Corbyn got elected as leader but I don't think anyone who disagrees with him is a fascist. I also don't think he is perfect. However, his positions on austerity and addressing poverty set him apart from the Conservatives and the Lib Dems which is why he has my support.

Just admit you were wrong.

Is the desire to ignore and overturn the result of a referendum fascist? Both the Liberals and Labour currently have that desire ... although Labour only really decided after the Euro elections.

Wanting people to have a second vote based on the balls up that is Brexit and now that it is clear that we won't do "the easiest trade deal EVER" is not fascist, no.

You talk about people not personally attacking the poster but engaging in debate, well I asked you three questions a few pages back and you totally ignored them. Great debating

The I am right you are wrong philosophy does not really wash when it comes to democracy because nobody knows who is right and who is wrong ...
Guess, thats why Dave gave it the proles to decide.

WTF are you waffling on about?

Do you think that, because it is now clear that getting trade deals isn't easy, we should just crash out of the EU or do you think that, with all available information, a 2nd referendum vote would give people the chance to clarify what they want to do.

Am I right in thinking that you don't even live in the UK? (Not sure, thought I'd seen a post about you living outside UK)

Do you agree with Brexit?
Do you think it was explained clearly in the Referendum build up?
Do you just want to leave the EU, fuck 'em?

They weren't the 3 questions that you've ignored and avoided answering but close enough...

This guy puts it better than me

I'm in full agreement with what Pie says.

If you 'take back control' or 'detach from the collective' then you must have a plan and there has been a mass fuck-up when it comes to negotitaing that position. I think 'crashing out' which it very much is, cannot be seen as anything but disastrous - I do not want that. If a party is elected that exactly recreates the current arrnangement then I'm all for that as long as the buck stops with Westminster.

My reasons for voting leave are perfectly clear and I have found the discussion here useful, but I do not agree with the train of thought that leavers did not know what they were voting for and were not clear on how it would materialise. As such, the future relationship within Europe should be shaped by political parties and a democratic choice through the ballot box and not another referendum.

My choice would be Corbyn.
