REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

Perhaps we could have 2 threads one for both sides of the debate. One can then discuss what a massive fuck up we are making the other can pat each other on the back and glow in knowledge that they have taken back 'control'of our green and pleasant land. Because quite frankly views are so entrenched it's all becoming a bit pantomime.

Aside from Dave, he's probably the biggest reason we are where we are now. People had long been cynical about politicians but Blair took it to another level. Major is the leader that deserves most credit over NI and its was Blair that opened the door to backdoor privitisation of the NHS and turning schools into Academies.

NHS and Schools did improve hugely and for that he deserves credit. However, the needless deaths of several hundred thousand people is a big one for me. If I killed 20 people tomorrow I wouldn't expect people to defend me by saying what a good parent I was.

Maybe most of that is true, but he was unbeatable, when it came to elections. Not that I liked him.

Could we have another one, when we just accept the democratic result, move on and unite as a people?

Literacy rates are dreadful. Basic Maths and English skills are appalling.

BBC : Tristram Hunt, 30.6% Remain vote in his constituency thinks Jeremy Corbyn, 75.2% Remain in his, will not be the right leader for General Election.

Plus all the traditional Labour voters, his support is from the nouveau left, the old rank and file just shake their heads in disbelief.
I'm old rank and file and Corbyn ticks a lot of boxes.

The result is what it is. Nothing we debate will change that. Let's move on!

But surely if we pay more in than we get out there is a surplus to spend.

Anybody would think we are on the verge of economic collapse with the Brexit. Nobody has disowned us yet ...

exactly. so let's get on with it.

confirm democratically approved commitments - end free movement; £350m/wk extra to nhs on exit (what's the level now? wouldn't want to lose £100m/wk here or there 'by accident') anything else?

sort out leadership; negotiate exit & new trade terms; deliver commitments

no need to fuck around now.

Might as well close the thread then!

Don't ever discuss the Wolves XI after 2pm on a Saturday either. After all Kenny Jackett has sent it out, we can't change it now.

God forbid anyone actually critically analyses the consequences of the outcome. Democracy has now been done and we must revert back to being mindless peasants again thankful that we had a brief moment in the sun.

Guys moaning about a Democratic outcome is well undemocratic! Suck it up cupcake we are where we are. Let's have constructive suggestion's on moving forward or just don't post. 2 choices nice and simple! The result will not change guys
