REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

Where's that from Visage because I seriously think they want to go back to the EU to renegotiate and don't want to invoke article 50.

Well the referendum vote is still only advisory - Parliament has the final say as to whether they accept the decision or not

Both Corbyn and Cameron have said there won't be another referendum. The result is final. Labour have said, even if they win the next election, there will not be another referendum, the people have made a democratic choice.

There won't be referendum, nor should there be. But nor does anyone want to invoke article 50, and possible set in motion a probable recession and the break up of the UK. On the othe hand if this current conservative government doesn't invoke the article it will lose the next General election in a landslide.

There will be no negotiation from the EU for even greater special treatment for less money for a county that wants out. Leave and leave now is the message from the EU, uncertainty is bad for business and effing around for years umming and ahring about invoking article 50 will hurt everyone.

All well and good, but he has said that even if he loses any vote of no confidence (he will) he will stand again. It's not those who elected him who have lost faith - it's the PLP who never had it in the first place. If he were to stand the only things stopping him from being reelected in my view is failing to achieve the necessary number of votes to be nominated by the PLP or if the Unions threatened to withdraw their support for the Party.

With any luck it will end with the forming of a new SDP

Laura Kuenssberg chief political editor of the BBC tweeting that half the shadow cabinet are expected to resign today.

Sajid Javid being made to look very stupid on the Andrew Marr show and Nicola Sturgeon talking from what sounds like a script.

You have to feel sorry for Corbyn. I don't think he ever believed in the EU, as it is now. The labour party should pull together now, but he must be in his last days. There is one thing about the guy though, he doesn't give up easy. Surely that won't be enough to save him though!

The Guardian was staunchly for Remain and is still campaigning.

Just watched Polly Toynby (Guardian editor) on the Marr show this morning spreading rubbish about the referendum.

They don't like losing.

What an utter c*nt

Imagine the despair you would feel if you had believed the shower of lying c*nts

Spreading rubbish like saying that she's the Guardian editor?

Those who've voted leave what is their vision of Britain in 10 years time and what are they expecting their lives to be like?

Interesting few years ahead. 3 years down the line when the economy is tanking you could see Labour winning if they stood on a platform of re-joining the EU.

I see the Lib-Dems have already taken that stance
