Herein lies the key issue with capitalism as we know it: Employees need employers more than employers need employees. IE, it's much easier to find new workers than new jobs.

I didn't say that - see the words 'ready & supply'. Unskilled work is by definition cheap (if its available) and there is going to be plenty more of it in the years to come. If not 'readily available' the Corporates will have to pay more.

The corporate philosophy doesn't much take into account populations, welfare and the vulnerable. Labour is a resource, they want consumption and to hell with debt and all the rest of the social issues and poverty. They really do not give a damn. The politicians serve the Corporates and the only way to appease them is to cut (or in relative terms) despite increasing funds, not giving the correct funding for the levels of service that need to be provided. If you shift towards a low paid, low skilled economy you increase the strain on public services due to demand rising and tax receipts lowering.

That is an interesting point.
There is obviously a large chunk of the labour support that votes that way out of family tradition and years and years of doing the same. I am equally confident there is a large chunk of the Conservative vote that is exactly the same. Less so for the Liberals with the changes the party went through in the eighties.
I KNOW that in the forerunner to this thread I said that I was looking forward to the referendum campaign not being particularly run on party lines.

There is some right shite pedalled this afternoon from the usual suspects. Not an argument to be had but I can see that 'corporates' are now the cause of Brexit along with the Remain campaign who lied their way to......losing.
At what point are Leave voters going to accept that we cannot be in the single market and that was a lie pedaled by the side that won. The side that promised £350m for the NHS and the side that had no plan.

Off course, when we saw the throwaway campaign slogan on the bus, all the Leave voters were so thick that we all believed it.
But when we were threatened with World War III if we voted to Leave, the Remain voters were so smart and intelligent that they didn't REALLY believe that was true. Cameron said that if we voted Leave that we could NOT be in the Single Market, so where is the issue ?
