Refereeing question

Should never of had a Premier League career to be suspended from it. There was plenty of evidence he was an incompetent cunt as far back as 2016 yet he still failed upwards.

The fact he's losing his job because of him calling Klopp a cunt and not from the reviews of independent assessors over a number of years is the reason refereeing in this country can never, and will never improve.

I think it brings into question exactly who a ref can't take given he's a Man U fan. The way Forest went about their Attwell complaint last year was ridiculous, but they were on to something with how wide allegiances should be taken imo.

You are better off claiming to support Altrincham like Taylor. Alan Wiley used to claim to be a Chasetown fan at the point when you wouldn't have needed the fingers on your second hand to count them.

These guys are meant to be the pinnacle of officiating and they're getting influenced by their own affiliations. I, naively, expected better

Maybe it's just because it's almost unbelievable that he'd say what he did, then immediately follow up with "ooo nobody can share that now that I've said it"... I dunno, it definitely crossed my mind that the guy in the vid is a ringer. Almost Coote but just a little bit off.

Could be camera angles, the phone, seeing him out of uniform, who knows. Could also reasonably say it's a deepfake.

If it's him, though, what a fucking idiot. As soon as his little pal there says "we hate Scousers" he should have yoinked the phone and tossed it into an acid pit.
