What age were you when you had your first beers ? Not beer - but my uncle on my mother's side got married in I think 1979. I was a page boy in a kilt, and no doubt a very cute seven-year-old. I spent most of the evening draining people's spirit glasses under the tables and was sick as a fucking dog. Beer started at home with occasional exposure from about 12 or 13.

Can you remember the first concert/gig you ever went to ? Who did you see, where did you see them and what was the year ? Metallica. Supported by Metal Church I think. On the Puppets tour. Hammersmith Odeon. Cliff was on bass so it must have been 86. My parents never knew. I was on a sleepover as far as they were concerned.

around 13/14 we used to nick beers from the local pub during school lunchtimes, grammar school kids eh?

1965, Beatles, Birmingham Odeon, must have been in December as my big bro took me as a birthday present

I was about 10, my uncles and aunts all ran pubs.

Kajagoogoo (kill me now) in 1983 at Birmingham Odeon. I was 12. I wasn't a fan but my mate was. Bored.to.tears.
.

Kajagoogoo were from Leighton Buzzard. About five miles from where I lived then. Limahl still lives in the area I think.

Piss poor band, and the only group that make Sigue Sigue Sputnik look fashion conscious.

Other than that, I liked them.

To be fair watching Metallica in Oklahoma in the late 90s inspired the same feelings. Bored.to.tears.

Growing up, were you given pocket money or did you have to earn it ?
I had some pocket money every week, though as a single child I didn't really want for anything other than sweets or the arcade machines in the video shop. I had an evening/Sunday morning paper round too which got me £11 per week.

Do you believe honesty is the best policy ?
Yes unless it's obviously going to hurt someone's feelings or cause trouble.

Real Christmas tree or artifical ?
Artificial. Can't be doing with an insect infested fire hazard in the house that sheds needles everywhere.

Last thing you ate today ?
Faggots, mushy peas and mash. Followed by a chocolate sundae and a packet of Snackrite cheese curls (Quavers basically). Washed down with tropical fruit punch.

What was your first car/motorbike ?
A sky blue B-reg Nissan Micra. Piece of crap to drive and cost me £900.

What game would you choose to play, the dare game, or the truth game?
Neither preferably. But my mischievous side says dare.

When you sign your signiture, does it bear any resemblance at all to your actual name ?
The N at the start is legible but not the surname as is a bit of a squiggle. Which I copied from the way my dad signed his name.
