QuestionTime With PPB, Instead of Sir Robin Day .

To be fair pretty much everyone seems to love Drive and i think that's right up there with the biggest piles of wank i've ever had the misfortune to witness.

I have the same issue with both Withnail and I and Donnie Darko. Very popular, universally praised but I find them to be dull, pretentious twaddle.

I liked Drive. It was a good throwback style movie.

Are you a creature of habit and routine ?

Not really, I prefer some variety.

Last time you went to the pictures and what did you see ?

Planes 2

Have you ever done volunteer work ?

Yes

Worst film you have ever seen ?

Blair Witch Project
.

So that single plot point makes it the worst film you've ever seen?

Nope, the fact I thought it was awful is why! I just could not get into the story, I thought the acting was bad at times and it just seemed like it was thrown together in a rush.

Wank music was an immediate annoyance for me, typical absence of any personality from Ryan Gosling - his raison d'etre, stupid story line. The film had literally nothing i liked.

Really ?

Ya wuss :)

Probably! :icon_lol:

I very, very, very rarely get frightened by a sodding film but that was very cleverly done IMO. I don't really like the horror genre as I find it a bit silly and far fetched.

So you're not a fan of a masterpiece like "The Omen"?

For a start, it made the hype that Spore got look amateur. What with all the videos of Americans running for their lives from the cinemas over there so you'd arrive expecting something somewhat entertaining. I'm not into horror films but I went with my friends to see this and it was utter tripe. I'm putting it below such "classics" as Batman Forever, Batman and Robin, Erasurehead and Dog Soldiers.

Urgh.

Do you have any scars ?

Yes, feet , knees, head, hands , arms . I was a wild child, ha ha

Favourite Season ? ( yearly season, not a Wolves Season )

Autumn

Do you like licorice ?

yes and especially red liqourice, (firemens hoses)

If you could round up 5 musicians/bands from history and have them do a 3 day music festival, who would you choose ?

The Beatles
ELO
Leonard Cohen
Bon Jovie
and.......bah... has to be the Rolling Stones

Other than watch and wedding ring, do you like wearing any other form of jewellery ?

a chain with a crucifix my mom gave me before she died, haven't worn a watch in 15 years

Do women make better listeners than men?

No, depends on the person, but women certainly nag more

Do you hate to hear a woman use bad language ?

Don't mind it, except the "C" word from a woman is horrible, but I don't like hearing men swear in front of women either, especially the "C" word.

I think lower budget horror films tend to be better than their big spending cousins, rely less on effects for gore and such, more emphasis on building tension and providing the odd shock.

Have you ever seen The Strangers?

I like the occasional classic, but it's certainly not my favourite genre. The Omen is one of the decent ones. I absolutely love Alien - not sure if that's classed more of a horror or a sci fi though.

I find the latter day horror films a bit cheesy and boring TBH.

Scariest films you have ever watched ?

When I was 10 it was the original Nightmare on elm street so I'll go with that :D

Fair enough

I think you've hit the nail on the head there, Mark.

Have you ever seen The Strangers?

Never heard of it - is it about Roger Johnson and Kaspars Gorkss?

I find that same thing with critics reviews sometimes and some Oscar winning pictures are truly awful and dull things to watch. I find Withnail and I unwatchable tripe.
