QuestionTime With PPB, Instead of Sir Robin Day .

Scariest films you have ever watched ?

When I was 10 it was the original Nightmare on elm street so I'll go with that :D

I watched it at 13 and couldn't sleep for a week without the light on. (Watched it since and it's pap)

Thats not necessarily true, i wouldnt say I was a nagger

then you are the Madonna, even the best ones can't resist a whine when it suits them, and usually with no basis in fact. Acropolois 1 still has PMT, (wow that's been a while, as most of them come on holiday here, during the free period) For the first time in my life i have the dates on hand, so i know when to don the Kevlar.

:icon_lol: Maybe its because I dont get PMT anymore !

I also defy anyone not to leap out of their seat when the head comes out of the bottom of the boat in Jaws.
Bloody hell Langers , now you are taking the pee !! :icon_lol:

Withnail is brilliant. Donnie Darko is pretentious shit (great soundtrack though).

Worst film ever, Last Action Hero. Irredeemably dismal.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there, Mark.

Never heard of it - is it about Roger Johnson and Kaspars Gorkss?

The trend of gore, gore and more gore got a bit silly a few years back with the likes of Saw and Hostel. Much rather watch something with a few little jumpy moments and some clever build ups than something that attempts to make you physically sick.

The Strangers is more along that creepy theme, stars Liv Tyler, youngish couple go to family holiday home, weird visitor at the door, night of being pestered follows, things go missing, some creepy music, it's no worldie but it's worth a watch.

Hostel is absolute dog dirt.

I saw a film called the Human Centipede a few months ago. It was absolutely revolting. But absolutely shite.

Watch The Serbian Movie, Langers :D

It's really vile.

Hmmm - let me see

The Omen
The Exorcist

obviously

A film I watched as a kid that scared the living shit out of me was The Medusa Touch with Richard Burton and Lee Remick. At the age I was I found it utterly terrifying.

Biggest jump moment has to the hand out of the grave at the end of Carrie. Nearly shat a new ring.

I've seen Human Centipede too, mostly out of curiosity when i finally saw it listed on TV some years after reading about it. I foresaw the unfortunate end that saw to the final link.

Jesus I'd forgotten about that. The subsequent laundry bill almost bankrupted me.

The Exorcist scared the life out of me as well when I first saw it, but certain parts of it really haven't aged well. And my mate can do a quite genius impression of the possessed Linda Blair which means I can't take it seriously any more.
