Worst film you have ever seen ? Avalanche Sharks,had to stop watching after 3-4 minutes.Worst movie I've completed probably The Accidental Tourist.

Have you ever done volunteer work ?
Yes. When I was in my teens I volunteered at the Bass Museum in the steam shed, keeping the old engines going. I used to get a few quid travel expenses and some free curly fries.

Worst film you have ever seen ?
Not the worst technically but I absolutely hated Sucker Punch directed by Zak Snyder. Horrible, shitty misogynistic film that was utterly boring even though it was packed with action scenes.

What years did you work at Barclays ? My sister worked at the Fordhouses branch in the early 80's. They used to treat their staff great and gave great Christmas parties i recall, to which she could take a 'guest ' , me

1968-1998 & yes in the 70s & 80s we did get well looked after (cheap mortgages to boot). Started going to pot after 1990 with much more pressure to sell & bonus related pay arrangements.

More than happy when I finally managed to get a voluntary severance deal off them with a decent payoff (before they also took those off the table)

Loads. It's how I got into my current line of work. As a nipper I did gardening at compton hospice in the summer. Ive worked in a few CABx, starting as a volunteer which I did for a couple of years.

Not sure if this counts, but on a ferry from Holyhead to Dublin, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, in a purpose built cinema for the ferry, great film, if you haven't seen it, do so.

I am in the morning tea, ciggy and reading the news on the net, even if i have a 7am start i will get up around 6 to make sure it all gets fitted in.

I went in June to an open air cinema in Athens with Acropolis 1. Brilliant night, a table next to the chairs , they served tins of draught guiness and the movie was brilliant.... erm ...it was called....erm....about a hotel in poland or russia.....erm....... i will get back to you on that one.

yes and a lot here, clearing the path up to the mountain waterfall, removing rubbish and old beds and stuff that some assholes dump in the forest.

anything with that twat Jim carey in it.

I gave up trying to play catch up on this thread Sooze, so i will try and keep up now.

Its the whole idea of oh lets spend a trillion dollars on a machine that gets blown up by an extremist but not to worry someone in Japan has also spent a trillion dollars to build another. It's somewhat insulting to the viewer.
