You have to invite and cook a meal for 3 TWF posters, who do you invite and what do you cook? Squeeze obviously, although she would absolutely REFUSE the washing up after what I would plan to cook! Then DW and Wombat I think.

Tiger Prawns in garlic butter with chilli and basil to start, possibly on a little linguine
Rib of Beef on the bone, plus all the trimmings. I would make cauliflower cheese just to annoy DW though.
Winter fruit strudel and a choice of custard or cream
What's the first thing you do when you get home from work, or get home after being out all day? Pat the dog and say hello to him. His turn is usually first as he almost batters the door down to pass his greetings when he sees me arrive.

Alan Brazil

Good shout on Alan Brazil!

I read the Mr. Men books to the kids sometimes and I do't rate them at all. They're not particularly well written, they don't really have strong messages, they're not funny and I find the language clumsy. Lot's of sentences starting with "And", that kind of thing.

One best left in the memory bank.

Well that's unfortunate.

Allegedly I used to ask for Mr Topsy Turvey every night at bedtime for a while, however as I am no longer 4 I'm not sure I can make an accurate critique of the material.

I still have the copy of Mr Sneeze that Quirk bought for me after the rib incident...

Lets say you are going to watch tomorrow's game in the pub. In your opinion which would be the best pub to watch it in, for atmosphere, good beer and friendly folk? Also predictions for tomorrow?

Cyber - you would have liked the one I watched a game v B'ham a couple of years ago - in Surrey visiting relatives & was the only person in the pub for the first half - a few came in later, but no one else was actually watching the match. Would prefer a few more people (preferably other Wolves supporters).

Would also predict a draw - just get this one out of the way without losing (would prefer a 0 - 5 humiliation to teach them to keep their mouths shut though)

My local is called “The Albion” and is full of Man United fans so I’ll watch it at home

0-4

I'd like to watch it in a Villa pub full of their fans, so if we won I could reveal a Wolves shirt and give them some abuse.

And if we lose you could quietly leave by the back door Bear :)
