Premier League: Relegation Race

BHA will be fine have a bit more quality than the sides below them and Burnley.

Brighton are a much better team than their league position. A left back and a goal scorer off being a very solid side now.

I’d love Burnley to get sucked in but think Dyche is too good to allow that sadly.

be very funny if Newcastle go down because for 18 months all we’ve had is how Bruce has done as well as Benitez did (not true) and his mates in the media will have to think of new excuses

Newcastle have Callum Wilson out until early April, they have a few other injuries mind but I can't see them doing much until he's back.

Might be a bit unfair on Newcastle if it’s winner takes all at craven cottage on the last day, with some fans allowed back in.

A few thousand Hugh Grant's shouldn't help Fulham that much

Brighton could be the team that end up in it. Slightly easier run but they need to win the games they have, which isn't a given.

Shut you lot up didn't I!?

That was such an odd game today but I don't see what everyone else sees with Brighton hence why I originally mentioned them. They look like the old Wolves teams under Mick. Good effort but ultimately don't compete financially and so have players that just seem to lack the top edge of quality.

Fulham need something at Palace tomorrow next 3 games v Spurs, Liverpool & City.
BHA are just odd forgot how many times they’ve lost or drawn games they should have won.

Fulham were the better team but given the upcoming games you feel this will be a missed opportunity. Need to get through that run and not really be more than 4 points back, else think that will be too much to overcome.

On paper you wouldn’t expect them to get much from their next 5 games Leeds and Villa are the other games.
Luckily they’ve got 3 teams they can chase down do they need just one of them to get similar results during the next few games.

Almiron and Saint-Maximin both out for at least a month.

The only positive for them is they only have 3 games in the next month

Absolute shame. Flushed like a turd hopefully.

This poor BHA have no luck mantra being spouted by some is doing my head in. They were dreadful second half last night and lost on merit.
Yes they’re prettier on the eye but results are no better. Still think they’ll be ok but there seems to be a degree of flippancy towards their predicament.

They'd be 7th in the league on xG or whatever and that is ALL that matters

Why do you have such hatred for a metric?
I think it states the obvious and counts for nothing. I don't need a stat to see that Coady and Saiss should both score yesterday, they didn't so our 2-1 XG win counts for nothing. I also think some use it to try prove points which are irrelvant. If Brighton could finish they'd be higher in the league, they can't so they aren't. Bad teams concede soft goals and miss good chances, always have, always will.
