I heard that on there too. That would make it interesting, but yes of course it could be just club speak. Also the bigger the name the more he's going to want to spend....From elsewhere:
"Tim Spiers said in his interview during the pre-match show that Lage has been spoken to at some point, but some bigger names have shown an interest in the last 48 hours."
In which case Fosun need to spend, spend, spend. Looking at thdd Ed table there aren’t many teams above us that we can feel disappointed about being below them given budgets. I’d suggest Newcastle, possibly Villa and Leeds.Wow.
Now the emotions are out of the way, the more I think about it the more this makes sense. Obviously as fans we're happy with UEL quarter finals and FA Cup semi finals given our recent history.
Fosun aren't.

I’m just trying to think of who these actual big names are, and coming up with very littleI reckon it is true but will make little difference.
We're an attractive job now: a club building to challenge the top six with exciting, young players on the books. Up and coming coaches/managers will fancy a punt.

Qualified for the Champions League again in 4th, so no reason to leave.Wouldn't surprise me at all if we went back in for Lopetegui. What is his situation at Sevilla?
