I do believe he was ready to go and move on.
 
Scenes like these make me think we missed fans more than most. Clearly there is a majority of vocal fans who wanted him to stay

Wow.

Now the emotions are out of the way, the more I think about it the more this makes sense. Obviously as fans we're happy with UEL quarter finals and FA Cup semi finals given our recent history.

Fosun aren't.
 
Of course it could just be the club feeding him stuff to make it seem like a fair search to gloss over that we've already sorted it all with Lage.

Fair point. I think it is all sorted and will have been for the last couple of weeks with whoever it is who is taking over. Lambert and Nuno were announced pretty quickly following sackings.

They'll give Nuno today and potentially the next couple, and have the new guy announced by Friday.
