It's not quite as simple as that with Bournemouth.
The new owners had a man they wanted and GO would have been removed as the caretaker if he had agreed to join during the season.
They decided they would wait and were happy with GO and gave him a proper contract to cover them should they get rejected again.
He was always on borrowed time there really.
