O'Neil In, Out and Shaking it all about

Fuck off DW, we both know guys on here want to be proven right, rather than lose face .
The owners presenly are doing ok, if we go down they will have loae any respect, but outside the top 6 no bad

Don't you ever tell me to fuck off again.

FWIW i don’t think today shows anything about GoN future. We were always going to set up the way we did and was always going to be a grubby game.

We did fairly well considering. Kick in the nuts their goal at the end ofcourse.

Good efforts today are fine as long as you don’t get Brentford type results 2 weeks earlier. GON has got 1 point from the 2 supposed easier fixtures so far.
People on Facebook thinking that this is the blueprint going forward.
It’s blatantly not. For starters most bottom half sides won’t commit as many forward as City did today allowing us a few opportunities to get in behind them. As said people will foolishly believe it’s a step in the right direction and a road to recovery.

TBH, playing City, Liverpool etc is a different game to playing any one of the bottom teams

Its easier to play against top teams, More Freedom, easier etc.

The games against the bottom teams are harder imv, they are equally likely to hit you

100% not a blue print. Going forward. You treat city and a couple other teams this way.

We’ll likely be on the counter against Brighton, but no where near the extent we were today , next two games absolutely not

Agree with first point

Points 2 and 3 absolutely not. Of the top teams are easier to play against, they wouldn’t be the top teams and finish where they do..

I dont thinks it’s easier personally as bottom half sides simply don’t have the quality to get in behind you like today especially first half. Errors aren’t punished as brutally either.
Becomes a case of can you out coach your counterpart I absolutely wouldn’t trust GON out think Glasner for starters.

Go on then.

How are we winning home games against the likes of Palace and Bournemouth with that set up? Because we didn't last season.

Plucky draws aren't enough. We can't 0-0 our way to safety. We have 1 point.
It is strange that you keep quoting stats in the negative sense from last season when we played 3 at the back.

Yet we have 1 point from 7 games with 4, but we should just blindly carry on with that.

Do you see the paradox?

We aren't getting 0-0s regardless. You can go and count our clean sheets under Gary O'Neil if you want, three CHs or not. It won't take long.
And that's fine.

But we have a higher goals per game don't we, certainly relative to our position and quality of squad v Nuno for example.

You can keep calling out the negative angle of 3/5 under GON, it's pertinent. But so are the positives too.

We still conceded 2 today and by luck rather than design could’ve been more in the first half.
Our players won’t go to bed tonight in the knowledge they gave it a good go they’ll be demoralised that they lost again.
