O'Neil aka GONe

The Fosun sh*tshow rumbles on. I wonder if, one day, we'll ever find out what the real story is, because what we're seeing has nothing to do with football.

Someone whining about how unfair it is that he can't allocate a player to mark the opposition player on our back post.

Right on cue, the vote of confidence arrives. O'Neil retains the full support of the fucking idiots and remains in charge for Ipswich and the foreseeable fixtures and they will back him in January. Just fuck off

"We have asked loads of people to come in and work under our current methods and only had a replies that say NO. Therefore the 1 fool that is happy to do so will remain in charge.
We will continue to release random bits of info to our client journos to make it look like we are really trying"

They've just given up, it's a nonsense situation.

You'd think there would be a tipping point, but if last week against Everton wasn't it, I've no idea what it will be. Lose 0-3 this weekend? Lose the next 2? The next 5?

Who knows, it's an absolute sorry state of affairs

Fucking hell Wolves.

What an absolute shambles of a club we are. The atmosphere on Saturday will be toxic, especially if we go 1-0 down. What are the odds that Shi doesn't attend?

I don't believe they really looked at replacing him. It was empty words to try and cool fan anger. We've signed our relegation now.

In the bigger picture, the fact they won't sack someone for such a pathetic run of form is the bigger concern. They know how bad we are, they know the stats, trends. They know the cost of relegation. And they still won't make a change, despite knowing relegation is inevitable.

That should scare us all.

He’ll be sacked this time next year when we’re in a similar position in the championship

This has all the markings of no actual signings in January too another "it's difficult to do business in January" too.

January will be “ we tried to sign players we need to strengthen the squad, but all the ones we talked to, wanted to play premier league football, we are unsure if we could offer that, so will look to strengthen in the summer, when finances are clearer re FFP “

All hail our glorious leader

Not remotely surprised. They just don't care. Any reported attempts to find a replacement were likely just a show.
It's a lot easier once you accept that this is how it is.

I think they tried in as much as they spoke to obvious upgrades who all told them to do one, so worked on GONs connection with the players being worth more than a comparable or marginally better manager in the Cooper mould. We.are.fucked.

Makes you wonder what their end game is and what is the actual tipping point is for him to get shit canned
I can see folk protesting on the Waterloo Rd next game if (when) we loose

All bets are off now. We could lose 4-0 on Saturday and I'd have no expectation he'd be fired whatsoever.

I've never disliked a coach more than this charlatan. The continued board backing of him is jaw dropping every coach (not named O'Neill it seems)would have been sacked by now at sny club.

This dickhead won't move out of London only turns up when 'needed' and has constantly lied to players. Him and Hobbs need to fuck off ASAP giving him a 4 year deal because Hobbs genuinely thought England were interested in him is insanity
