O'Neil aka GONe

He said the same on Saturday, he's just inaccurately valued the loss of the player's this time. Closer to £130m given Cunha and Traore were already here

I'm convinced this is karma for some of our fans not appreciating Nuno while he was here.

We deserve these rotten, unfaithful, incompetent, dishonest managers that we've been saddled with since.

I wonder what people within the game think of Shi and Wolves? Given the bridges burnt with Nuno and Lop, I wonder how willing some of the better managers would be to work for him, the apparent shambles we were over the summer must have had an impact.

Lopetegui was the last premium manager in terms of profile, salary and backroom staff we'll have under Fosun. Anyone we employ now will come because they can't afford to say no, although that doesn't necessarily mean they'll be bad. It's why I think Potter is a pipedream

Potter won't want to sully his reputation with the likes of us. Whilst his stock remains relatively high he'll be looking for a more high profile club than us.

With the exception of Nunes he walked into the job knowing everyone who had gone. When Nunes left, which was always going to happen due to who came in for him, he was given 4 additional squad players to work with. If he didn't like what had gone on last season, the points total, the players sold, the fees received, what the potential was for squad movements before the deadline then he shouldn't have taken the job.

To bleat about it all now is preposterous. This is his squad, his team, his performances.

Agreed, absolutely no chance with Potter. Best chance is with an up and coming manager that plays good football and ends up getting poached in a few years, but then we've got Shi and Hobbs picking them so that's unlikely.

Carsley was apparently considered (but not interviewed) IIRC, I think that would be the closest we'd get to and up and coming manager that plays good football. We'd be in a similar situation with O'Neil to start with though as he'd be relatively unknown and inexperienced at this level.

Lee Carsley it is then....

Sat at the airport in Lanzarote waiting for flight home, someone please give some encouragement before I get home that he's gonna be gone, I just can't see it.

His maths is a little subjective. Coady not here last year and to all intents and purposes neither was Sasa who has won us a couple of points at Everton. He’s also got Fabio which knocks a couple of quid off too. Details aside the very fact he’s talking like that tells the real story - he’s clueless and will cling to any potential excuse regardless of its validity.

The Chinese arrogance is astounding to me. How can they think they can do this when all evidence points to them not being able to.

At the moment they are fulfilling every Chinese stereotype possible.

There will be nobody willing to work with them shortly.

A steady move to the Watford model?

Mate, stay where you are, drink beer, sit in the sun, come home when it's all over.

If you fly indirect and land back after the Villa game you might be in luck.

And he'd kill to get 41 points now.

Shi won't like those net spend comments either as puts it into focus, which they will see as slight on them.
