Notlob (A) Buildup 21/4/18

"possibly" in jest? :icon_lol:

Come on, mate! Although saying that, the team I posted would still have a decent chance of winning on Saturday.
EFL would probably punish us for that team, due to the amount of changes to the 11.

Blame Huddersfield for that.

--------------------Norris----------------------
--------Batth-----Miranda----Hause----------
German Phil---N'Diaye--MGW-------Vinagre
--------Bright-------Mir-------Graham--------

That's what I'd go with. Give the other lads the rest of the season off.

:tiphat:
I relatively agree with this, and don't doubt the fringe players can still get us to over 100 points.

Norris
Miranda---Boly---Hause
Ofosu-Ayeh---N'Diaye---MGW---Vinagre
Costa---Mir---Jota

Subs: Ruddy, Doherty, Coady, Graham, Afobe, Neves, Bonitini

Why though, it isn't going to prove anything...

All of the teams we have left to play are rubbish, even if Norris/Phil/Ruben Jr have good games then so what. And we aren't getting them fit for anything.

Just play a normal team like a normal person would.

Oh, I was 100% messing around. I didn't actually think for a second someone would agree with me :icon_lol:

Same team as last weekend but Afobe for Cav, if Cav is injured.

If Cav isn't 100% then not worth risking him at all - we have other options

Looked up the rule regarding changes. Huddersfield rested everyone Inc the ball boys v Blues last season ahead of their play off games and lost. That pissed off Blackburn somewhat.

So the rule is..

"For any league match played on or after the fourth Thursday in March, any team sheet for a league game should include at least 10 outfield players who featured on the team sheet for the league match before.”
The EFL added: “In the event any club breaches the threshold, they may be charged with a breach of Regulation 24 and the matter will be referred to a disciplinary commission.”

So a bit of flexibility but don't think we will make many changes between now and May 6th.

Daft though isn't it.

Let's say we're buggering about in 14th/15th (just imagine, eh). Pick eight new players for the Bolton game. Pick eight further new players for Sheff Wed, retaining the first eight newbies as they're now fair game. Hey presto, we now have 16 nobodies in our matchday squad.

What is the difference between spreading it over two games as opposed to one?

Best available XI to start and smash the cunts.

Given how few senior games they have though, any competitive senior game time must be good for Vinagre and MGW? Maybe less so any others.

For that reason I'd play Vini for Douglas and MGW for Cav. Easily strong enough to win but some game time for those who could benefit from it. Personally I'd like to see Hause and Norris but obviously that is purely personal as I like them, won't really affect their development.

Full strength and fucking destroy the wankers. Did I mention I fucking despise notlob?

I see no reason to take our foot off the gas, and neither will Nuno or the players.

Same team but either Afobe or MGW for Cav. MGW is the one I'd like to see get more game time now.

MGW from the start for Cav. If he even has a tweak I'd have him on ice now. The summer is for recovering and you aren't recoving if you pull your hamstring and are having to recoup that before starting pre season.

We'll be dominating this game for sure. Score first and it should be game over.
No team in the whole Championship has seen less of the ball at home thanBolton this season.

Phil Parkinson’s side have enjoyed an average of just 44.3 per cent possession in their 21 games at the Macron Stadium
I'd go for:

Ruddy
Bennet - Coady - Boly
Doc - Neves - Alf - Vini
Costa - Afobe - MGW

You can't drop Jota after his last game.

Ruddy

Bennett Coady Boly

Doherty Saïss Neves Douglas

Costa Afobe Jota

Fuck all this noise about resting players. We should be looking to win every game.

Absolutely - resting players against this shower of shite? Fuck that - I want our best team to annihilate them and send them closer to League 1.

Lycan's team for me.

I want to offically secure the title at Bolton in style with as big a win as possible.

Strongest team possible for me.
