Very much doubt it as they could potentially have South Korean and US troops ending up on there border. Also if there is an invasion there will be plenty of North Koreans heading into China as refugees and they wont want that either.

Actually would anyone want US and Chinese troops looking across at each other on a border.

Not only is the North Korean leader knewly in power, but so are the Chinese, South Korean and Japanese leaders, dotn know how experianced diplomatically they all are.

nuclear weapons probably are the single biggest risk to the human race existants. if one is fired i bet that more will follow causing mayhem in the far east.
if the north drops the bomb on Seoul it would be detremental to themselves as radition would probably travel back to the north with prevailing winds.

the third world war is an exceptional read, espcially where i'm living now, but the only way to stop a nuclear war is to make sure thes philistine puppet rpublics thinking of starting one, realise the consquences up front.

havent read the whole thread so sorry if this has been said.

1. I have never been to North Korea so really cant comment about the people or the country. I only know what our press and TV tells me.
2. 90% of their food comes from China, so let China have a word
3. our armed forces 120,000- their armed forces 1million plus
4. Someone tell America that world polictics is not a giant pissing contest and that they should be a little more diplomatic before the bluster and posturing

Some-one on the radio this morning was saying that China do not have as big a say in North Korean affairs as they used to. Whether that would affect things I am not sure, but maybe North Korea would ignore any request by China to withdraw their missiles.

South Korea is reporting that it believes that the north is preparing for another nuclear test. If nothing else, Pyongyang Is pumping up the tension in the area.
