Newcastle United (A) 09.12.2018

Oh i agree, just don't think it's the end of the world if they did start. A fast fluid front 3 against the Newcastle defense would be good to watch.

I'd much rather see the same team as the last game though.

I agree about the fast fluid front three but I don't think Traore offers us that, he's fast of course but he can't drift and interchange positions like the others can and his schoolyard take-on-five-defenders runs really don't suit our style of play. If he does start I hope he tears it up but I can't see it, especially through the middle.

I'd rather see the same as last time with maybe Neves in for Moutinho, MGW really deserves to start if he's not too tired as he's been nothing short of imperious. Love the kid.

In my opinion this is nothing more than Jonzy getting his 5 minutes of attention which he seems to desperately crave.

Going with that line up after our performance v Chelsea would be lunacy.

Although Timbo has now got on the Jonzy bandwagon.

Unconfirmed at this stage but hearing that Costa, Traore and Neves are in for Jimenez, Gibbs-White and Moutinho. We'll see what's what at 3pm #wwfc

I would be seriously disappointed by that, if true. Another Cardiff performance incoming.

Timbo in reading MolMix shocker.

Notice he says unconfirmed. He has literally read Jonzy's post and tweeted it, but is leaving wriggle room in case it is a ruse from the club.

Side confirmed. Been a long time since a pre match line up meltdown, but I really think Nuno has royally cocked that up.

Line up announced as had been predicted.

I have to admit it's a bit disappointing to see changes after the positive performance on Weds but I have faith in Nuno.

Fucking hell I love Nuno and he’s earned a hell of a lot of trust but that’s a crazy decision. Obviously determined to get the Adama experiment to work, I hope it does.

Looks like Diogo central rather than Traore which is a small blessing.

At risk of looking a idiot after I think that is a ridiculous line up and one where it would require all our permitted subs to get the frontline right.
That said we should still be capable of winning but just why? :emot-fuckoff:

Only silver lining I can see there is Diogo keeping his place. But that looks like a cock-up to me

Looks like that Molmix bloke is definately more ITK than some give him credit for.

Meh, Nuno knows more than me and has got us this far. He deserves a modicum of trust i think.

Interesting line up Nuno must have seen something he can exploit within the Newcastle system of play.

Really not sure that this is a good decision - yes it's only 4 days after the last game, but 8 of those who started v Chelsea are still out there

Can see some sense in the Moutinho/Neves switch, but not really the others

He gets little snippets. I just wish the club would plug that fucking leak to him.

It's alright anyway, Joselu is only on the bench for them.

Major fuck up from Nuno, in my opinion. What message does that send out to MGW? Of course I’ll totally support the lads & hope we come away with the win, but this is the first, genuine “what the fuck is he thinking?” moment for me.

Can’t wait to watch us hoof it long for Traore to run on to rather than playing proper football like we did v Chelsea.
