Once we made our subs we looked much more cohesive going forwards. They were there for the taking thanks to the red card as they weren't attacking much.

Getting the goal right at the death makes it look more fortunate than it was. They switched off in the last 60s, Kenedy didn't track his man jogging back and it was game over, good run and shot from Diogo and Doc couldn't miss.

I just hope Boly doesn't get any retrospective punishment. Since Dean has said he saw the incident though, it's unlikely.

Retrospective penalties only happen when the Ref hasn't seen anything

Not so eloquently, no, but that is definitely my prevailing theory and has been for some time.

Newcastle may say they didn't deserve to lose. My response? If you didn't deserve it, you wouldn't have left Doc unmarked two yards out. Simples.

It's maybe my favorite thing about football. You reap pretty much exactly what you sow.
