We did “Hiring Manager” training a few weeks ago and we had to role play interviews to scripts and scenarios. Given I’ve interviewed literally hundreds of people and filled a plethora of roles it really made my piss boil. I manage a team of nearly 60 people and built quite a lot of it myself, why the fuck do they think I need to role play interviews when I’m obviously pretty fucking decent at doing them already? A proper piss boiler.

On the subject of tight car parking spaces, had a bit of a barney this afternoon with someone in an massive XM 50 who’d rested her rear door against my motor whilst struggling to get the kids out. Didn’t realise her fella was getting the dogs out of the back and wound my neck in a bit when recognised he was Gary Cahill. Jesus, he’s one big unit.

Anyway, cars are too big now and spaces are too small. Difficult to see much beyond more even more door dings and even more arguments ahead.
