I've been very impressed with how naturally my niece and nephew (14 and 11, respectively) self-regulate their screentime. It seems the novelty of being constantly online is lost on the youngest generation.I think that's fair, very noticeable over the last 5-10 years. Very Black Mirror-esque.
There may yet be hope. I think the fact that all of this has come on so quickly has just left a lot of folks born before 1990 (heck, maybe even people my age where "the Internet" originally meant a 56k modem) without proper coping mechanisms for it.
