New - The things that really annoy you

I never ever take renewal prices. I use Topcashback for all my insurance stuff and get £30-40 per renewal, so even if they quote the same price or even slightly cheaper I'm better off moving every time.

Plus if you use GoCompare they give you £250 excess back if you ever claim, so you can raise the voluntary excess up to £250 instead of £0 and get an even cheaper price.

One of my biggest pet hates is that loyalty as a customer means nothing anymore, autorenewals at an exaggerated rate, hoping you wont be bothered to check and don't get me started on Sky, give the deals to new customers, don't bother with the one who's been with you 25+ years

Sky do some lovely offers for long term customers...if you threaten to leave

My favourite being when they asked me what team I support and when I answered they offered me a year of MUTV for free.

Your love for Darron Gibson gave you away.

Which is why 3 years ago I was offered a brilliant package as a new customer by an agent at a Pop up stand in a shopping centre in Galway. It all went south when I told her I was an existing customer. So I re registered using my wife's mother's maiden name and my middle name. Don't think you can do it anymore as I think they have the address locked in.
Still, who knows if Mr **** has now left the property and I have just moved in....

I got a letter from South Staffs Water this morning saying that they have been the victim of a cyber attack and my name, address, sort code and bank account number has been stolen. FFS.

It’s for our joint account that pays all our direct debits. I guess I’ll have to speak to the bank now about the possibility of closing that account, opening a new joint account and switching all the direct debits across. What a pain in the arse.
I'm not saying you should but I believe there may be a compensation claim available for stress / anxiety etc caused by having your personal details compromised.

Might be worth looking into

I think this kind of thing will become the next "where there's blame there's a claim".

This evenings pub quiz host not allowing the team name ‘Matt Hancock you’re a wanker’.

Locking wheel nuts, called out to my daughter in laws car with a flat tyre, every wheel nut comes off apart from the locking one, went to my mates garage and borrowed his breaker bar to get more square on it still no joy, just love them, especially when they get a bit old and worn

Thief would have no problem!

I ordered a small product from a company in Abergele in Wales on the 12 November.
Estimated delivery date Dec 15.
Why so long?
Because it uses either Royal Mail Postal Hub or Amazon's postal hub.
Either way it'll come to me here in Ireland via Guernsey, Malmo or Frankfurt, possibly two of those or maybe even all three! Or maybe some other fucking postal hub.
This is to complete a customer's commission for Christmas and it's gonna be real tight!

Couldn't you push a slightly bigger socket over it with a hammer?

Locking wheel nuts are a waste of time nowadays any way. They hark back to a time when alloy wheels were rarer and worth nicking. Nowadays every car has them, plus they are easy to get off with the right tools and a bit of knowhow. Most new cars don't come with them any more.

Oil and crap over the seat. The epitome of not giving a shit. I fucking hate people sometimes☹️.

Not quite getting the point about improvements being needed for pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

These smaller commuter trains have even got bike rack thingies with Velcro straps to secure the bikes to so there’s absolutely no need for that. It’s not as though that train was even busy.

I mean he’s an hi-vis and helmet kind of guy, so was surprised to say the least.

Takes all sorts I guess.

If we can educate more to do it I wouldn't have to spend a fortune on stickers for the back of lorries telling them not to undertake whilst the lorries turning left, win win !

A committed cyclist using the bus!
It’s a train, you can see the yellow stand behind line.
Wouldn’t have got that far onto the bus tbh, folding bikes only on the buses.

Not sure where to put this but probably an ’annoy’. You’ll be annoyed that they are striking or annoyed that the strikers have been driven to strike so either way yeah, I guess that’s an annoy.

Evidence that the strikes are effective in causing disruption, effective in desired outcomes still remains to be seen. Good luck travelling for work, pleasure or otherwise, but taken from the station this morning, Happy Christmas everybody:
