I can appreciate your 'reservations' but at least with Dyche you know what you will get and he would do his damnedest to keep us up.
As I said I would only offer him a one year contract.
I Edited my previous post for clarification 👍
Sean fucking Dyche.

I'd rather get Lage back. Dyche was hooked when his team was 19th. His shit brand of football can get in the sea.

I'd do my damnedest to keep us up too with the same results as that clown.

Not trying to be rude to anyone but the Dyche talk is insane. Our squad needs to be built for going forward in addition to sorting the current lack of points, you bring in Dyche it's going to worse than Lambert in terms of the players not being a stylistic match to his ideas, but it also being a much more difficult league than Lambert had to contend with.

You'd be better off going with someone like Roy Hodgson then if people are thinking so unambitious, at least he has the dour defensive side but does try to use the creative players in some way when he has had them.

It's tragic to even bring his name up so far after moving on from the previous manager.

It is yes.
Difficult to 'build the squad' when we can't sign anyone until January.
I don't want Dyche any more than anyone else does. But it is becoming obvious that Shi have totally messed up and no manager with any real quality wants the job.
Going back to Nuno is not the answer anyway.

That's not what I meant. The manager needs to use these players and future signings need to also fit the cohesion of these players. Newcastle made signings this time last year that improved mostly what they had tried and failed at, they didn't start again.

Edit
This time last year I obviously mean January! As already mentally written us off till then.

Yes I agree with that. Fingers crossed it happens.
We need to start picking up points very, very soon though and I don't really care how we do it. 👍

Nuno coming back would be a big mistake for both us & him - love the man & we had a number of amazing years but it can't be replicated.

Other names mentioned on the whole don't elicit any sense of expectation - would almost welcome a young manager who had had some sucess in Lg 1 or 2 and give them a chance - not sure that that is any worse an option.

The club needs to sort out the structure properly so that those running the 'football' side of things really understands what they are doing - they don't at the moment.

I’m bewildered by Jeff and his truss-like incompetence. There is probably only one manager in the whole world who would be worse than Bruno, and that is Dyche.

He is the best way to guarantee that we become watford.

How do you know no one wants the job?
Can you name more than one who we have offered the job to who has said no.

Lopetegu wanted the job, but personal issues (father) stopped him taking it.

Marcelo Gallardo now linked He has announced he is leaving River Plate

Spurs had a fair few rejections from potential Managers before Nuno got the job . It happens to other clubs too .

We're better off to take a little more time and get it as right as possible than jumping at the first person of reasonable ability who expresses an interest .

Lack of information leads to rumours and counter rumours , only to be expected .
