I'm not as worried as others at the prospect of going down, but I'd be foolish to say it's impossible. If we keep playing as poorly as we are, it becomes even more likely. I can't remember seeing us look so pathetic in the final 1/3, and I saw Paul McLaughlin playing for us. We deserve to be where we are at the moment - we've been shit.
However, I firmly believe we're playing WAY beneath our full potential. Part of the reason for the was Lage, and I wouldn't dream of suggesting that it's anything other than a big job for JL or whoever else comes in.
I think we'll pick up more than enough points, and some of the very talented individuals we have will start to show a lot more.
We're not too good to go down, I just feel that it would take a considerable chain of shoddy events to unfold for that to happen, starting with a really poor appointment as head coach.
We have wasted too much time by not acting sooner though.
