Moutinho just makes things look easy. Its that marriage of experience and talent. Like DW's comment about Rui, he never seems to have to work hard because he's in the right place at the right time.

Genuinely dont think a better player has played for Wolves. Certainly not in my lifetime.

Duh duh duh-duh-duh duh, Joao Moutinho.

I've gone for Joao and it was a close run thing with Rui.
This was my thought process too.
I refuse to go down this rabbit hole. No.

I would now take Rui and Boly over Murray and Lescott though.
I almost posted on the ceiling thread that Rui had overtaken Murray for me. Not sure why I didn't tbh.

Boly hasn't surpassed Lescott quite yet for me though.

Rui and Boly have by far surpassed both for me

Lescott was absolutely class, you could tell he was a class above - Boly however is easily in the top 10 CB's in the Premier League for me and I wouldn't have Lescott that high at the time he played for Wolves.

Japan for me, the bloke is incredible. To think when we signed him I thought he'd be some poncy tippy tappy midget :icon_lol:

Neves hasn't got a weakness for this role, and will go on to be one of the best in the world. And on Doc, I doubt there are more than a handful in world football that would be better at what he does. His movement off the ball is incredibly intelligent, he's almost the antithesis of what most left backs have to face week-in week-out.

On Raul, not having him being included in most complete, he's not that brilliant a finisher tbh. He's capable of it, but does miss a lot of very good chances. He's been incredible for us and works brilliantly in our system and his all-round game is superb, but he's not complete/perfect in the way Joao is. Sounds harsh as I read it back, like, but it is what it is

I agree that Joao is a bloody fantastic player but would counter that with, when Joao doesn't play another midfielder drops into that role and we tick along nicely but when Raul doesn't play we are generally a much worse team in an attacking sense.
Therefore what Raul brings makes us a more complete team, if that makes sense...
