The 3 - 2 win at Derby County in our promotion season will always stay with me. 1 up, then 2 - 1 down, then Keogh got that late winner. I really enjoyed that day.

I was behind the goal at Wigan when we won 1-0, that was a special moment - our first ever away win in the Premier League.

Twice during McCarthy's era I was on the pitch side pre match with my kids. Southampton and Albion, clearly I was not a lucky omen.

Barnsley away was something else too.

I cannot fathom why people cannot take the good and the bad together. It was disappointing to see us relegated from the Prem, but I certainly don't BLAME Mick for that.

I should have mentioned the Barnsley game in my post. I'll never forget walking into the ground and getting lost in a sea of joyous, singing Wolves fans. I have never seen a concourse so full at a game ever. You could hardly move!

Yeah, we looked class that night, live on Sky, we took them apart. Zubars goal was brilliantly worked and that was when I knew we were staying up

My favourite games have to be the 3-1 at West Ham or the win over Man Utd when they were still unbeaten, the 06/07 season was a great achievement reaching the play offs with the thread bare squad he inherited.
He had three good seasons for us and two bad, I don't think it can be denied he lost his way in the 11/12 season and wasn't helped by a lot of his players and in reality he should have been relieved of his duties after the appalling display at Everton.
But the attacking football we played on getting promoted and the entertainment of 10/11 season should not be forgotten and should be what he is most remembered for.

Never enjoyed the Premiership years under McCarthy. Once he gets teams up he is out of his depth. He was perfectly happy to make that judgement about some players but seemed blind to his own failings.

The 'missing link' signing of Roger Johnson and then making that pi**-head captain over Henry ruined the dressing room and was his only enduring legacy.

I think my favourite would be being able to share the win over Chelsea with my dad on the South Bank. Even though he was a Bath City fan, he went just as mental as the rest of us at the end. A memory that can't be taken away from me.

Apart from that, West Ham away 3-1, Stoke home with THAT freekick, the brilliant day out at Barnsley all spring to mind.

The day we achieved promotion vs QPR will always be my favourite memory. Keogh skinned their full-back and put it on a plate for Ebanks-Blake (who else?). A couple of QPR fans were sitting behind me in the Billy Wright and shook the hands of every Wolves fan around them saying we more than deserved it.

Seems like a life-time ago now...

It's only the odd few games that were brilliant though. The rest was reasonably uninspiring.

We played some decent stuff in year two at times.
