Bellegarde and Doherty off at half time for Gomes and RAN please

We were right up there for quite a long period of the season under Bruno. Didn’t mean we were actually good.

This isn’t even a criticism of the manager. Just good for us not to pretend everything’s going in the right direction. Still a lot of work to do
Tbf there's always a lot of work to do in this league. No easy days.

Just ask the recruitment team. 😂

Agreed..

Thinking otherwise is what's feeding the complacency of thinking we don't need to invest in the squad etc etc.

I hate to say it but they are playing well and have shocked us.
We are lucky it’s only 2 - 0.
We need to get a grip on this, and come out with something better in the second half.
A goal back would be ideal before half time, but that doesn’t look likely.

Pfft, their days are a piece of piss! Just faxing the same piece of paper to Chelsea every day for 4 weeks before they get five months off

Bruno's Wolves are miles away from this team, you know that. This team has desire and spirit, that team definitely did not, they are not comparable.

Sometimes you get beat, 1 in 8 isn't bad, bellyaching about it and bringing up Bruno isn't a great look in my view.
In terms of application and effort, yes. Night and day. I think GON has got that spot on.

In terms of quality and performance. Meh. We are very poor defensively still.

We’ve played some OK stuff in this game even, can see the ideas at times.

Cba to respond to your little dig at the end, I used that as an example in response to you.

Cunha can be so frustrating sometimes...

So, I guess the obvious subs are Ran for Doc and getting Gomes on the pitch, however i'm not sure how we get the latter on without leaving us vulnerable at the back, or offering less going forward.

Gomes for Doyle would make us immediately more solid.

I’d do 3, RAN, Gomes and Sarabia

1. Good, glad you agree.
2. The quality is far better than under Lage, astonished you don't see that, but fine.
3. Agreed.
4. A dig? You are moaning, it is our first (likely) defeat in 8 games, just seems harsh, particularly with a run of games and small squad, but yes it is disappointing.

In the ideal world I'd go 4231. Their wingers are having a field day and our back three aren't doing a good enough job at covering the gaps.

Quality I’m not sure. We are more open and attacking, hence we create more. My point is (which you keep ignoring) is we are over-performing just like we did that year under Bruno.

GON is a lot more likeable than that idiot so people are likely to give him more benefit of the doubt (which is fine). Doesn’t mask some of the things he’s getting wrong, in my eyes anyway.

I’m moaning because we’ve been rubbish. He wasn’t brave enough to put the starters he should have. That’s on him.

There's a reason he was available to us. If he was more consistent and accurate in front of goal he'd be playing Champions League football (and probably be cheaper for that team, we definitely paid a premium).

Jesus wept we look so poor at the back tonight. Lucky that was just off. Again.
