Loan Watch 2022/2023

Guedes needs a knee operation and will be out for six weeks or so. Probably won't play for Benfica again as they aren't going to keep him, being as he's shit and has done nothing.

Wonder who we fob him off to next? I assume back to Valencia is the most realistic option.

I could see Girona taking a punt. Ties to CFG so they can afford him.

EDIT: Just checked the Primera table and Girona are above Valencia? o.0

Bottom end of La Liga is wild. One or both of Sevilla/Valencia could go.

I watched some re runs this morning. Elche have had it but everything else is up for grabs. Girona were very unfortunate to lose to Atleti. I think Sevilla can probably escape but Valencia are bang in trouble

I should be watching Girona, really, just to keep tabs on Taty Castellanos. Just can't be arsed, there's already too many sporting events to keep up with.

I was at the Athletic Bilbao vs Girona game earlier this month. Girona played really well and got a surprise 3-2 win but I couldn't tell you which one Castellanos was.

Would have been playing as one of the forwards.

He was like Messi for MLS last year. I think he had multiple 5 goal games. Crazy numbers.

Just looked and the numbers aren't as crazy as I remembered, but it sure felt like he was scoring hat tricks every week.

I expect its a reflection on the wages they pay and the resulting quality of people they hire.
Ah fair play, I had no idea what the salaries were like. Just had a look and you're not wrong

I would just say he was rushing his work.

Just stick to being the 5th person to report on stuff Liam and life will be fine

Sangbin Jeong's loan at Grasshoppers has been terminated, and he's on his way back.
