Loan Watch 2016-2017

He did play fairly well at RB a couple years back before Iorfa broke through.

Oniangue scored in Bastia's 2-2 draw with Nantes last night, Bastia were 2-0 up but let 2 late goals in.

Oniangue now has 3 in 7 for Bastia who are fighting relegation, just like us.....

and they are playing him in the correct position...Who'd of thunk that playing people in the right position would work?? :icon_rolleyes:

From mid-week;

Prince Oniangue
(SC Bastia, Ligue 1) - Another 90 minutes and scored his third goal for them, this one a scruffy tap-in to equalise against Nantes but they all count.

Jed Wallace (Millwall, League One) - Still out injured.

James Henry (Bolton, League One) - Given another start in a 1-1 draw at home to Bristol Rivers. Had a 20 yard effort go narrowly over. Subbed with 10 left.

Sylvain Deslandes (Bury, League One) - Left out of the squad by Lee again

Harry Burgoyne (Barnet, League Two) - Played in a 2-2 draw at Blackpool. Made a flying save from a free kick but won't be happy with either goal he let in, both at the near post.

Hakeem Odoffin (Eastleigh, National League) - Unused sub at home to Aldershot. Jim Kellerman got sent off for the Shot.

Aaron Hayden (Bromley, National League) - Not in the squad but Bromley had two men sent off in 5-0 thrashing at home so who knows, we may see him in a squad soon.

Jon Flatt (Barrow, National League) - Played as his team lost 1-0 at Guiseley.

Ben O'Hanlon (Nuneaton Town, National League North) - Game called off.

I really think a midfield base of Saiss and Prince would do a good job in the championship

So in his short loan spell Prince has overtaken our two main strikers...

They'd both be cut out for lower-level Prem sides in all honesty.

1. Saiss hasnt played at any type of level for you to make that assumption.

2. Jack Price would get bullied out of everything in the top flight IMHO.

Saiss has in Ligue 1 for Angers. Ditto Prince for Reims.

I didn't mention Price.

Beg my forgiveness for Price/Prince, need new eyes..

But Angers.... ANGERS ANGERS <--------

And whilst we're at it Reims. Sounds like a team Joey Essex should play for..

Angers had a very good team last season, although they tailed off badly toward the end.

Reims less so but Prince did well there.

I know I rate Ligue 1 more highly than most here but I think it's not terribly unfair to equate those sides of last season to the likes of Swansea, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, et. al this season.

From the weekend;

Prince Oniangue (SC Bastia, Ligue 1) - 90 minutes again, this time in the centre of a midfield four. Reported as having an excellent understanding with his fellow CM Mostefa. Game ended goalless.

Jed Wallace (Millwall, League One) - Made his comeback with a 20 minute cameo. The Lions beat MK Dons 2-1 to go 17 games unbeaten.

James Henry (Bolton, League One) - Came on as a sub after an hour in a 1-1 draw against Wimbledon. Flashed a shot narrowly wide.

Sylvain Deslandes (Bury, League One) - Left out of the squad again. Not sure what the point of this loan is.

Will Randall (Walsall, League One) - An unused sub again as Walsall beat Oldham.

Hakeem Odoffin (Eastleigh, National League) - Unused sub in another loss at York.

Aaron Hayden (Bromley, National League) - Not in the squad again. Another pointless one.

Jon Flatt (Barrow, National League) - Kept a clean sheet against Sutton United.

Ben O'Hanlon (Nuneaton Town, National League North) - A full game in a 2-1 win over Gainsborough Trinity.

From midweek;

Ethan Ebanks-Landell (Sheff Utd, League One) - Recalled to the team because of an injury and played the full game as the Blades won 3-2 at Oxford to go seven clear at the top.

Will Randall (Walsall, League One) - An unused sub once again.

Jon Flatt (Barrow, National League) - Played as his team beat Tranmere.

Note: Everyone's favourite benchwarmer Ola John has made a couple of late sub appearances for Deportivo this week. Still no sign of Texeira at Forest.

Wallace starts for Millwall in the cup.

From the weekend;

Prince Oniangue (SC Bastia, Ligue 1) - Another full game but this time it all went wrong for his team. Shipping 5 goals in the second half to lose 5-0 at Guingamp. Our Prince also got booked.

Jed Wallace (Millwall, League One) - Put back into the side for their biggest game of the season at Spurs only to see them stuffed 6-0.

James Henry (Bolton, League One) - Kept the bench warm during a 4-2 win at Fleetwood.

Sylvain Deslandes (Bury, League One) - Left out of the squad again.

Will Randall (Walsall, League One) - An unused sub as Walsall drew at Charlton.

Hakeem Odoffin (Eastleigh, National League) - Back in the team and a solid 90 minutes in a 2-0 win over Jon Flatt's Barrow. The same adjective can't be used for Flatt who messed up his positioning and was caught 'flat'-footed for the second.

Ben O'Hanlon (Nuneaton Town, National League North) - Limped off after an hour in a draw against Guiseley.

Collins to Tranmere until the end of the season.

From last weekend and this week;

Prince Oniangue (SC Bastia, Ligue 1) - Played 90 minutes in a 1-0 defeat at Metz.

Jed Wallace (Millwall, League One) - Played a full game in a goalless draw against Bury. Missed a couple of chances to score and picked up a booking. Followed this up with a goal last night in a 3-3 at Rochdale, sweeping the ball home from 10 yards after the keeper was caught out of position.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell (Sheffield United, League One) - A full game as the Blades beat Charlton 2-1.

James Henry (Bolton, League One) - An unused sub at the weekend and on Tuesday as Bolton picked up two wins.

Sylvain Deslandes (Bury, League One) - Still out of the picture.

Will Randall (Walsall, League One) - An unused sub as Walsall lost at Southend.

Hakeem Odoffin(Eastleigh, National League) - Played 90 minutes in a 1-0 win at Chester on Saturday in. Described as 'resolute and skilful'. Nice mix. Started again at Torquay last night but subbed on 68 minutes.

Jon Flatt (Barrow, National League) - Played in a 2-1 win over Dag & Red on Saturday. Made a couple of good saves. So far so good. With Tuesday's game against Wrexham goalless in the 90th minute, Flatt made an absolute hash of a backpass, kicking thin air instead of the ball which allowed the forward to nip in and score. Cue our man rushing up the other end of the pitch for a series of corners but to no avail. Wrexham then equalise in the last few seconds of the game to cap a crazy finish to the game.

Ben O'Hanlon (Nuneaton Town, National League North) - Played two full games, one at the weekend and one on Tuesday.
