An uneventful 70 minutes for Michael Jacobs as Bournemouth hammered Blackpool, while Liam McAlinden came on for the second half for Fleetwood in a 1-0 win and had a late shot 'scrambled clear' by the 'keeper. Jake Cassidy came on in the last couple of minutes for Southend, who don't seem to be using him too much at the minute.

As mentioned, Bradley Reid got the full 90 (and a booking) for Telford, without making much of an impact.

George Saville and Ashley Carter were unused subs while Leon Clarke wasn't in Wigan's matchday squad.

Without trying to sound criticising - what did the scout (s) see in George Saville or is it the potential just asleep

By all accounts he was very good for Brentford last season. Seems to have gone backwards for whatever reason. Looking like an expensive mistake atm

Bang average youth team player doesn't progress beyond bang average Lg1 player. Not really news, stupid to spunk such a large amount of money on him but the best thing to do is move on and try and at least get him to a saleable value.

Weird. Still think he could do the job of Iorfa's backup better than Doherty (although to his credit he's been very improved just recently).

Ricketts has had a few pretty serious injuries in his career. I think he's done at this level tbh which is a shame. I hope we see him back at the club in some capacity after his contract runs down at the end of the season.

He'll leave in the Summer for a permanent Div 1 team. He has said he wants to make the Wales Euro Championship squad (assuming they qualify)
