Loan Watch 2014/15 Season

Maybe he just needs to move on, like Vokes, to really be successful.

That's apples and oranges though really, the only thing that Vokes and Cassidy have in common is their nationality. Vokes showed plenty of promise and scored some important goals for us in the Championship; he was just here at the wrong time for his development (and we made some unwise choices in importing the likes of Maierhofer/Bent and preferring Iwelumo for a further year). Cassidy hasn't ever shown anything like any signs of promise in a Wolves shirt, irrespective of level or whether it's in a successful or poor team, and whatever he does in League One is pretty irrelevant to us now.

Not comparing them as strikers, just the situations. Cassidy doesn't fit our current system, hence moving on may be best for his production.

Bit of an update on Hause, my brother is a season ticket at Gillingham. Said he looked a bit shaky at the weekend although improved as the game went on. Last night however, was excellent in their draw with Swindon. First half played at centre back, Peter Taylor changed it around a bit at half time, Hause moved to left back where he continued to play well and scored a good goal overlapping down the left side....... Encouraging stuff

Very encouraging, shows a tremendous (or Rickets like!) amount of flexibility to change sides, a lot of fullbacks, even professional ones, are really limited on the other side of the pitch.

Hause playing for Gillingham tonight against Newcastle

Damn!! Why have we let him become cup tied..........

Was at the Gillingham Vs Crewe game today so got to see Hause for the first time. So far already this season, Taylor has used Hause as a centre back, left back and against Newcastle he was used as a left wing back. Today he played centre back in a flat back 4. Now, Crewe were rubbish and it's fair to say he will have tougher tests this season. However, he dealt superbly with whatever came his way today. Looked confident on the ball, strong both on the ground and in the air and always seemed to be just where he needed to be . He seems to have settled well set Gillingham and he certainly looks an excellent prospect.

Zeli goal for Notts Co,1-0 up v Bristol C.

Cassidy puts Notts County 2 up v Mansfield

shame he can't come back until January.....

That the cover for the African cup of nations sorted then!

Looks like Price made his Yeovil debut as a 56th minute sub in their 3-1 defeat at home to Pompey.

I'm glad he's got a couple of goals, it was painful to watch his career seeminly go down the drain!
