Think Slinks summation is a fair one, to say the one mistake cost us the game is a bit melodramatic, there's nothing to say if Silva, Chiquinho or Podence had come on instead we would have got more, pure speculation. It was a very odd decision though given Hwang has been abysmal recently and very much lived down to his previous efforts.

Well, that’s another season done.

I must say the atmosphere was phenomenal at Anfield for once, and it wasn’t too hard to get caught up with trying to keep abreast of the other matches when really we should have been savouring the last minutes of Neves in a Wolves shirt. Will be truly gutted if (when) he does leave.

Can’t add much more about Hwang than has already been said.

Highlight of the day was whoever thought it was a good idea to place Jamie O’Hara in front of the Wolves fans for the halftime punditry.

Don’t remember where i said it was ok. More a point that tactically we were actually good and Bruno got that spot on for a manager that can’t coach etc…bringing Hwang on was a shocking decision and he should have subbed him too, i think that’s obvious. That doesn’t mean positive comments aren’t allowed and he did set us up tactically in a way that allowed us to create lots of chances that the players should have done better with and not just Hwang.

That's fucking horrific, i genuinely think i could have done better than that, he was an embarrassment and should have subbed, given how Bruno has treated some other players i'm surprised he didn't.

Although, to be sightly fair to Hwang, he WAS trying, he is just shit.

We've had some poor players play for us in the Prem, (Eggert Jonsson, Roger Johnson, Maierhoffer, Halford) but this was up there as the worst performance i've seen from any Wolves player at this level.

I really don't feel we got our tactics particularly right as IMO Liverpool had their defensive tactics spectacularly wrong.

It's all well and good that we created chances from what were essentially long punts forward, but it's hardly tactical genius to exploit the kind of spaces Liverpool were leaving in behind.

I dunno, maybe I'm going too hard on the Bruno Out train, but I don't think so.

I dunno, Slink. Liverpool set up even higher than normal and as mentioned by Carragher on comms, played the whole game as if there were five minutes to go and they desperately needed a goal. It was their set up that allowed chances, we didn't really play any different to how we normally do (we're always better at stretching the game and finding space in behind when Neto plays). Helped that Raul won far more in the air than he has done for most of the season.

I didn't notice anything innovative tactically from us, albeit you don't get the full picture on TV. Same shape, players all in the same roles they always play, including that weird "Dendoncker pushing on down the right" thing that never ever works but we've done about 10 different times this season, crap/no subs.
