Should have known it was atwell ffs, terrible

Don’t think VAR has got involved at all this year? (excluding offsides). They’ve set the bar very high now that it’s pretty much going to have to be an off the ball incident or a complete howler where the ref must have been looking the other way to get it so badly wrong

It's stupid, one extreme to the other. Something like limiting the time or number of replays would be a better divide - if it's that obvious you won't need much of a review to see it like that one in the first half.

Hammers booing Lopetegui for taking Summerville off, what a guy!

Chelsea look pretty good don't they

Soft as shite penalty gifts Forest the lead at Brighton.

I can see that one both ways... he has to put his foot down somewhere but it does appear to go towards the Brighton player as if he is looking for it.

Two really good goals from Brighton turns this one on its head.

MGW sent off. 2 yellows.

Daft challenge to make really.

Nuno red carded as well for his reaction to the card

Think the Brighton manager was red carded as well for his reaction to the challenge.

Initially looked like the ref said MGW got the ball and it was a fair challenge. Word in his ear changed that

Initially the ref simply gave a throw in.... then the Brighton bench got involved wanting more.... and yes, it probably was reckless from MGW. Second yellow, off you go. Years ago you could tackle like that. In this powder puff variety you can't.

Both managers and MGW sent off from one challenge!

You say powder puff but more would say trying to protect players from injury.

Strong challenges are still allowed but players flying in at high speed with little control, rightly not so much

As I said, it probably was reckless and protecting players from injury is important. However, the game has turned powder puff. See that Wellbeck "foul" earlier in the game. Wellbeck clearly moved the ball and didn't touch the Forest player. Naturally the Forest player falls to the ground and the ref buys it.

Havertz has basically twatted Rodri straight from the kickoff (swings his shoulder straight into him). He's gonna be saved by the shit camera angles here.

Haaland is a cheat mode. Makes finishing look painfully easy
