I'd have thought this sort of game would have suited Ange. Basically 90% of Celtic fixtures.
Aye you've got to give massive credit to Tamworth for the organisation, work rate and tenacity. They've been really good, really busy and done really well to still maintain a threat on the break.
Spurs have been shameful. Slow, lazy, uninspiring, absolutely no invention
On this evidence Tamworth are a damn sight better than most of the Scottish clubs outside of Glasgow tbh.I'd have thought this sort of game would have suited Ange. Basically 90% of Celtic fixtures.
No replay here a bit of a shitter but guess the new deal benefits everyone rather than just the team lucky enough to get a good draw and replay
Another TV game and the gate money from Spurs is worth far more than getting in the next round though.Yeah, that argument has always been hokum. No one plays for a replay and Tamworth have far more chance of winning on pens here than going to Spurs and winning.
Nope, it's just all the players are really, really big.Is Tamworth's pitch particularly small or are the camera angles playing tricks on me?

Stand is small so the main camera lower than normalIs Tamworth's pitch particularly small or are the camera angles playing tricks on me?
Obviously it's not as easy as just making it so, but it feels like a bit of a red herring to me; if the lack of replays is costing clubs cash, the FA should make up that difference.Yeah that's what sets clubs up for years

The lack of replay shouldn't exclude the financial incentives, ideally.
Disclaimer: I know less than absolutely fuck all about how the FA's finances work.
Not sure I understand what you mean here (in a truly clueless way, not a "that makes no sense" way). It's not that. It's taking games out of the calendar (primarily to benefit teams who are in Europe)
