Live Match Discussion 2024/25

I'm sure you lot would be delighted if we'd had to play Bristol City again in midweek.

Fuck replays, they're shit.

I want it back to the good old days. Replay after replay until a result. Fuck extra time and pens....

Bromley winning at Newcastle.

Make sure you concede on purpose though lads as we want a draw.

But I am torn on replays. As stated they are shit and a pain to fit in with the current calendar but when a NL team could potentially get a trip to a PL team and the extra £££ it feels like something is wrong.

In summary...no to replays unless I think they deserve one.

Man Utd doing a good impression of a team playing someone 4 divisions higher than them at the moment.

I know the point you're making but in this case why would they want a replay at Bromley? They'd make naff all in comparison with today.

Yeah! Bring back Crook Town V Tow Law on repeat forever.

More seriously, with regards to the now theoretical problem for poor old Spurs fitting in a replay, I’d solve it by just kicking them out of the tournament, the charmless Chingford tossers.

Build the time into the schedule then after the draw ask the teams if they want a one off tie or not. If one side chooses the replay then that's the route. Today's would have gone to a replay, most wouldn't, for instance I doubt either Wolves or Bristol City would have chosen one

This game is an absolute snoozefest. Arsenal taking absolutely forever even to take their own set pieces. This season they have been such a boring side.

Utd really are very ordinary, Arsenal not at their best but even when Utd break, it's half hearted.
