Palace are irrelevant- both as a club and as relegation rivals. Neither Ipswich or Leicester will get close to Palace so all we need to worry about is finishing above those two.

I don't think Palace will go down either but I'd still like a few clubs in reach rather than spend the whole rest of the season 17th. Same reason I'd like West Ham to plod along with Lop till the end of the season too.

Still a lot of football to be played and I think only Southampton look dead and buried. Ipswich win tomorrow and they're only three points off Palace.

I know it's the crappy defence that people throw out in favour of Sa when he does something stupid, but the current standard of PL goalkeeping is not very high. How has Verbruggen let that in?

Would've pretty much hit him if he'd just stood still but he dives and it goes under him.

Movement from Jesus was dreadful too, if he'd have checked his run there was an easy cut back but he just kept plodding along hiding behind the centre half when there wasn't really a big enough gap to run in behind.

Late contact is late contact. Far more dangerous than many penalties given based on nothing more than the defender touching an attacker.

I’m not sure what they need. Sometimes Arteta looks like a genius but when things get too rough they totally lose composure. They’re also just horrifically unlikable.

They are correct the first part to be fair, they need an out and out centre forward with the way Arteta plays. I don't think he's good enough yet, but they need a Strand Larsen more than a Cunha
