I agree with you to a point high criticism is fair though as long as it’s done in an objective manner. It’s often just hot air and finding the scapegoat.

Pundits seem to think James will have her 1 game ban bumped up to 3 due to the violent conduct reason.

Last 2 games she has been a stand out, named as a potential player of the tournament etc. That is some way to come crashing back down to earth.
She will get all manner of "what was she thinking" etc but anyone who has played a game will know, at times you park your common sense and do or react stupidly to moments. She is probably still sat their thinking the same as everyone else now and has no clue why she did that.

That must be a new (ish) thing in tournament play. For instance in 1990 it was only 1 match for Benjamin Massing for Cameroon v Argentina and that tackle would have got you sent off at Twickenham!

Risky to spend that much on a goalkeeper who has only had one full season in league one though. Southampton did the same last year…

True. Looks like he could be very good, risk as a promoted club though.

They look shaky but I actually think they’ll stay up. They have a better manager than other teams
