The keeper has just done a hennessey starfish to block the attempt. He’s already committed to that action before he’s headed it. The guy heads it past him and they collide.

Good bravery to go in their and score. You can’t send him off for DOGSO as he’s scored. So your only other option is dangerous play. I personally don’t think it is, the force comes from the speed Diaz is running at as Sanchez is practically stationary trying to make a block.

There was more force from Ederson on Jota and and he was sent off for DOGSO and not dangerous play.
I don’t think he is committed before the header, Sanchez was nowhere near the ball and it was already past him before he even collided with Diaz. The red card should have been for intent as all he intended to do was hit Diaz with his arm and his leg. The still doesn’t show how ludicrously late it was and how he wasn’t even in the same postcode as the ball.

Well I completely disagree so we may as well leave it there.

Like I said. If he’s behind the ball he’s not off.

And in that moment Maguire is not going to know who is behind him, you are never leaving that ball and there’s certainly no time for a shout. If Romero wasn’t there I’d wager he still tries to play the ball as he can’t have any clue Kane isn’t at the back stick for a tap in.
He's not behind the ball...it's not close

I’ve just watched on the Sky post match coverage and it looked level to the naked eye from the camera level with the play. So either I’m blind or it was close

What a strange hill to die on. The MOTD pundits and surely anybody with eyes can see it’s a red all day.

I know it’s th internet but you can admit to being wrong without contemplating sippucu.

Collins sent off for denying Brentford a goalscoring opportunity by giving Brentford an even better goalscoring opportunity. How does that work, then? Common sense (though probably not the FA's Big Book of Fouls) says that should be a yellow inside the area.

When did Arsenal suddenly become quite good? Of the sides outside the top 2, I think they look the best and were certainly the best team we've played in 2022. They are miles better than West Ham, Spurs and Man Utd in my opinion, and probably better than Chelsea too. A really good, exciting young team. Coincidence that their improvement coincides with getting rid of Aubameyang?

Saka is a phenomenal player, my favourite non-Wolves player to watch, still so young as well. If they can hold on to him and their other young stars they could really go places in the next few years.

If they make Champions League, and they should now, Saka and Smith-Rowe should grace the competition.

Pity their manager and many of their players and fans are such tossers

Just seen the Leeds first goal. Another bollocks offside goal not given because of the stupid law as it's now written

Well done Diogo.

Opens the scoring and his reward is to immediately get subbed.
