Be good if they go down as a proper lesson in how not to build a team/club

Yeah. This system is allowing him to do what he did for us, get forward and play like an inside forward almost.

Hojberg making some lovely angles for his teammates. Taking the ball even with men all over him. Using it really well and even driving with it and getting himself in the box.

Just makes you wonder how Mourinho looked at his career and thought it would be a good idea to play him in a back four hw he did

And he's playing 2 v 3, witchcraft.

He’s been quality. Hasn’t felt the need to drop into the defence to find space either which would reduce passing opportunities for his team mates and also himself. Allow the CBs to play into him in tight spaces, move it quickly into WBs or forwards and then carry on moving forward for the return ball

Says it all about Everton really, as he's an incredibly limited player. Spurs fans can't stand him.

Haven't we got Everton soon? A sure way to get their first win in ages...

Doherty is what he is, Conte has the formation to bring the best out of him, as did Nuno. It'll only really work if they become a Top 4 team dominating the ball though, otherwise against better sides he'll be a weak link. Victor Moses won a PL for him in that position and hasn't been a viable option for any team in any position before or since

It wouldn't be, they've won 3 at out 4 at home under Lampard (2 in the Cup) and the one against City which they lost they were cheated out of. Home and away form is very different

Well if we play like we have in the last couple of games i wouldn't bet against it.

I don't particularly rate him but he does generally back himself to play a bit, and if you do that against poor opposition you'll often succeed. This is one the biggest frustrations with Wolves, the lack of conviction, they don't back themselves enough so the slightest of obstacles turns them round back to their own goal.

Always thought he was ok whenever I see him. Hes’s Certainly better than Harry Winks! But Never thought he was a world beater but he was doing things today that we do not.

Tried to watch Spurs closely to see what they are doing which we aren’t. Midfielders being willing to get the other side of their opposite number number a big difference as well as as the general fluidity of the players. Not dropping deep into the back line also helps the side massively. When we do that we leave Moutinho in the middle on his own and then just operate the horse shoe as a result, rather than actually trying to receive it under pressure and actually play through teams.

Also the outside CBs getting into orthodox FB positions in the attacking third effectively then making the WB play as a forward and then the 3 forwards In the box.
