horrible injury to Harvey Elliott it seems, didnt show a replay so must be a nasty one

Just caught the 2nd half of Forest v Cardiff, by god forest are looking a team set for relegation.

Nice to see Mick again but we're a million miles away from the championship football. It does make you realise how far we've come as a team.

Struijk trailing leg landed on his ankle with his full body weight on it.

PTSD to breaking my ankle in a similar fashion last week :ROFLMAO:

I wonder if Harvey will still be waiting for his operation a week later?

Didn't think it was a red, but finding a decent replay is hard.

From what I've seen it looked more like a broken leg than a broken angle

Didn't look a red in real time as the angle isn't the best but after seeing it again slowed down i think it's a good decision. If he slides in left footed and takes the ball towards the camera it's a great tackle but because he brings his right foot round and his left foot in the air comes through the back of Elliot's left leg it has to be a red.

That looks horrible, ankle broken for me..could be hard get back on the same level from that depending where it was broken..good he is a young player though

It looked to me like his leg was flopping around in roughly the shin area....

Never a red, the ref didn't even give a foul.

Leeds should appeal that, giving punishment based on injury is bullshit.
It is a red, because he brings his left leg behind his right for some reason it's a dangerous challenge. It's a very strange challenge when you watch it slowly and he had to go. Watching it in full speed from the angle we've got it doesn't look that bad but that doesn't mean it isn't.

Can't agree, I think watching challenges in slow motion always makes them look deliberate.

The fact the ref doesn't so much as give a foul says it all.

It's an accident.
