Interviews with the coaches is one of the most pointless aspects of the NFL. You can guarantee that they'll pretty much say exactly the same thing every game, which usually involves the phrase of "getting the oppositions offence of the field quicker".
Converting on 3rd down/Getting off the field on 3rd down. More success running the ball/Stopping the run.

I will say that this is fairly true of any media availability, in any "major" sport really.

It's not often you get a coach who doesn't simply trot out the same cliches we've all heard a billion times before.

Seen the Fernandes goal, my understanding was when an offside player moves towards the ball he becomes active, so not sure how that stands

Not supposed to be any more, has to actually touch the ball, physically impede a defender, or block line of sight.

I'd say it falls into the 4th point because if he's not there Ederson's positioning would be different, but like last weeks it's all open to interpretation, it's the law which is wrong

I think it’s both the law and the thick as pig shit referees’ interpretation of interference. It’s been a terrible week for VAR - I’m totally in favour of it but didn’t take into account the pricks who’d be using it.

Bullet point 4 surely Rashford running behind the ball stops Akanji getting to the ball secondly it directly affects how Ederson positions himself.
The law is beyond a joke and has been created by an absolute buffoon.
Anybody of any football knowledge knows that the goal is offside.

Rashford shapes to shoot as well but must get the call from Bruno and stops...Ederson fully positioned for Rashford going for goal.
Shocker of a call but after the last week, not surprised.

The pass is for Rashford and he runs towards the ball until the very last second (before Fernandes shoots). The assistant referee flags (and VAR apparently does not get involved so says the Guardian) then he and Attwell (surprise surprise) decide its not offside under severe pressure from Man Utd players. There is no way in any other stadium in the country does this decision get changed without the very least intervention from VAR.

That coupled with the atrocious penalty decision in the Brentford Bournemouth game (how VAR does send the ref to the monitor to have another look I'll never know) means that they might as well have left Mike Riley (do your best Richard Keys impression there) in charge of it.

Is De Zerbi actually a really good manager? Or is he just riding on the coat tails of everything that Potter built and set up?

I doubt he's changed anything their coaches are doing in training, and Potter left them in good form. It's not as if he's had to turn anything around.

Did well at Sassuolo on Italy. Getting them close to qualifying for Europe.

Had Shaktar playing good stuff and only left due to the war situation.

The entire coaching staff left with Potter.
He's doing things differently. Certainly has them playing entertaining football, and scoring goals regularly. Also, anyone making solly march look like a regular contributer is doing something right.
To date he looks a very positive appt imo. Time, as ever, will tell us how good.

Robert Jones again with absolutely awful piece of officiating awards Newcastle a free kick after a blatant dive from Longstaff.
To add just look at the none free kick he’s not given to Fulham.
I thought the likes of Stuart Atwell, Lee Mason, Jon Moss & David Coote couldn’t be topped but this bloke is an absolute abomination of an official.

Today we have the greatest derby of Portugal, a Benfica - Sporting. Here's hoping Benfica demonstrates its current superiority in the pitch tonight and provides them with a proper thrashing.

This image is Benfica in its primal form:

Do you both laugh at Porto wanting to be an important game against either side?
It is also an important game, but the feeling is not quite the same, because it has less history. Both clubs are from Lisbon, and they were the two indisputable big clubs of Portugal until the mid 80s. There's just another atmosphere to it.

But Porto still suffers a bit from a small man syndrome, kind of. Not that they need to get on their toes, but they do. Which makes it funnier.
