Attwell with some consistent stuff again

Fuck off Liverpool that’s just weak ass defending

Liverpool have really upset their own flow with some of their transfer dealings in recent years. Thiago in particular doesn't suit, their strength was always the relentless tempo at which they played but now he's the guy conducting in the middle of the pitch and he sets a pace that even Wolves' midfield would consider tedious.

As Carragher said they struggle against any side that plays with intensity.

Yeah, he’s one of my favourite players to watch but he doesn’t fit the 433 that made them so strong. He’d have been a better fit for City (surprised they didn’t sign him years before).

Fabinho also seems to have dropped off a bit since they won the title, and he was absolutely key to their success that season, IMO.

Henderson, Tiago and Fabinho are all injury prone which doesn't help. Can't ever pick the same midfield three on a regular basis.

Proper disco party at Brentford when they win a game.

Watching the game tonight there's been so little space for their front three to play in or the fullbacks to bomb into, obviously Brentford have set up very conservatively with that in mind but their laboured approach play only amplifies the issue. Nunez and Salah, Diaz too when he's back, would be so much more threatening with more space behind opposition defences to attack but their team mates rarely give them those opportunities any more.

Wonder if Klopp is coming to the end of his time there, his Dortmund team fell apart at the end of his time there and I don't think he's really one that evolves his teams.

Can they afford to pay him off?
