You know if Sa had done that the goal would have stood

I know I'm banging the same drum here, but I see that Chilwell goal and the hunger and desire to prove a point and score... Just not there at our club. Why?

It’s just an inconsistent mess really, as soon as you bring in the “clear and obvious error “ mantra it creates such huge grey areas.
Even still how anybody in their right mind can look at the West Ham disallowed goal and think that the infield decision is completely wrong is just baffling. IMO it’s not even a foul Mendy goes to ground right at Bowen feet so has to expect some contact.
They use the “clear & obvious” when it’s suits them.

Is that all though? Don't players themselves need to have that will to bust a gut, get to the ball before defenders, a desire and hunger for goals?
If you were at work and the bloke in charge is giving you a load of stuff you know doesn't work wouldn't you be demotivated?

I know I would.

Leicester went 1 up but they look really poor and are 2-1 down now. They look so vulnerable at the back.

Don’t look a happy bunch either, Danny Ward with some absolute suicidal goalkeeping nearly let’s in a 3rd

How come every time I watch Lewis Dunk he makes a gaffe?

2-2 now, great ball from Tielemens, tidy finish. This is a good game.

PL have asked PGMOL to look at their process with VAR. major surprise Lee Mason right at the centre of all the controversy after being on VAR for Newcastle v Palace.

Absolute thundercunt of a strike ruled out by VAR. Utter nonsense.

VAR is okay in a strange way.

The problem is the officials. Who happen to be the worst on earth.

This gets said a lot. VAR stands for Video Assistant Referee, so when I say fuck VAR, or VAR isn't fit for purpose, I am including the human match official involved. Just to be clear.

Comes down to how pure do you want the game?
I want them to use it with common sense, otherwise what is the point. Ruling out goals for things that had zero impact on the event like the ones this weekend makes it easy to hate VAR. But like Paddy says, it isn't the process itself, it's the incompetent morons operating it.

You can't divorce the 2 though, or at least there isn't a will to. What's this season 4 and it doesn't improve?

If I've got the choice of a fallible human being making a subjective judgement on the pitch and sometimes getting it wrong, or a different fallible human being making a subjective judgement in some studio somewhere and not only still sometimes getting it wrong, but taking ages to do it, then it's not really a choice is it?

Agreed. But the people overseeing it? Mike Riley and now is it Lee Mason? Both absolutely useless, incompetent cunts.

The PGMOL have scrambled the minds of the officials. Clear & obvious error stuff just means you get inconsistent decisions and they leave themselves open for huge accusations of corruption.
