Well that was as good a goalless draw as you're likely to see, very entertaining.

That likeable lovely man Marsch got sent off today.

Presumably for endearing himself to the officials.

Cunt.

Some controversial moments apparently, unsurprisingly surrounding VAR. Ref sent over by VAR to look at the monitor after him giving Brentford a penalty. Stuck with his decision. Then Brentford's forth was miles offside but VAR overturned the decision because it was flicked off a Leeds player (replays were inconclusive).

I bet he dealt with them calmly and rationally...

Hear don the radio he was running up and down the line and getting in the linesman's face.

If you want to see a farce, check out the Wet Ham equaliser that got disallowed today

That's just confirmation bias
Not really you are trying to make something perfect when it's left to opinion as demonstrated by the posts I quoted. Not seen either yet, but West Ham and Newcastle both had goals scrubbed off today that it would appear many think were fine, others will think they were the correct decision. It's just a crap shoot

It's implementation is poor in the main but most of the time VAR works fine.

In its current guise it'll struggle until we have a proper set of questions for VAR to answer.

When VAR was introduced I naïvely though that would mean they got all the decisions correct. And by correct I mean that the officials would make decisions that I would agree with, which obviously they don't. When something is subjective as a lot of decisions are in football we'll never get to a position where everyone agrees with every decision VAR makes. I guess that's why they tried to make some things as binary as possible (handball before a goal etc).

Whilst we have humans making subjective decisions we will always get inconsistencies.

Looking at Brentford's confident and clinical finishing with envious eyes
