If you are going to pick Coady in the squad, the merits of which are irrelevant as he did, then it's very simple PR to pick him for the team tonight when it's a mix and match line up anyway.

One thing I would rail against is him not making the best of an exceptional group. The players aren't that good. Kane is world class, Bellingham could be, none of the others are. Centre halves are ordinary, Rice, Mount, Saka, Grealish, Sterling, they're decent players but nothing absolutely stand out. We had more natural talent in the mid 2000s.
