Good game this, really good intensity.

Bissouma is a class act, exactly the type of player we need.

Of course he wont, but we need something similar

That's pretty appalling from Watford there. Absolute gift.

Great from Bissouma though going in on Cleverley

Watford look quite rubbish. Them, Norwich, Burnley, Palace, Southampton, Newcastle all look like they will be crap to me.

shoulder dislocation or collarbone on maupay probably

I thought Burnley created a lot away to Liverpool and deserved to score at least once, but yeah they will be down there somewhere

Watford have been like the realization of the absolute worst case scenario for us and Lage.

Nunoz looks totally out of his depth on this evidence.

This may be wrong as a hot take, but looking at the first two rounds of fixtures (16 games so far) there have been just 3 home defeats (zero today):

Norwich 0 Liverpool 3
Burnley 1 Brighton 2
Newcastle 2 West Ham 4

I'm not sure what the stats were prior to the fan ban, or during it, but 3 away wins out of 16 seems remarkable and surely goes to show how important fans are, this will even out over the course of a few weeks i'm sure, but it seems to be very important at the moment. Hopefully this trend continues tomorrow!!

In the first weekend in France I don’t think a single home team won :D

a short term over performance at home makes sense but will most likely eventually just return to normal pre pandemic levels

Interesting about France!

Yeah i fully expect it to return to normal, probably as soon as the 3rd gameweek, but i'm pleased there's a clear effect.

Was watching as it all kicked off. At a corner a few minutes before they were throwing stuff and Payet just kinda shrugged it off but the next time he (and his team mates) had clearly had enough.
Sampaoli absolutely lost it with someone too. Might have been Todibo

Crazy game in Levante too right now, culminating in an outfield player taking the gloves after the keeper pulled off a diving save just inside his own half. Great to see a makeshift keeper in a borrowed jersey.

Leicester under the cosh vs the Hammers.

Great goal from Fornals as well.

Leicester look extremely vulnerable at the back
