Carabao cup was always going to give us insufferable smug big six fans. At least I won’t have to listen to whining scousers for a while. I just wish the Prrmier league and our cups weren’t so utterly dominated by the sky six . I find myself touting for any team against them. It’s not right Top level football is losing its appeal for me. It’s utterly rigged in favour of the big boys and that makes it dull

Yep his record in shootouts seems to be better recently (or Mendys is worse)

Transfermarkt has him down as 7 career saves and 17 against but it doesn’t include shootouts.

Before today Kepa had saved 18/60 pens faced in his career, Mendy 9/53 (pulled this from a forum elsewhere)

Massive turnout at the shit tonight. I reckon they will be lucky to have 15k in the ground

Why is it so difficult to find attendances these days, used to be the only 'stat' you could find outside of the league table.

In other news Steve Bruce admits a top 6 finish is unlikely, also water is wet.

Trouble is, £100m to City is like losing a fiver on the way home from the pub

Prices mean nothing to them though. Absolutely nothing. We burn £35m and if it is a dud, it really hits us hard. They burn £100m and it is the equivalent of having to bin off the end of night kebab.

I'm not sure it does hit us, we made pushing £30m profit on Jota, the same will apply (minimum) to Neves and Neto, maybe Ait-Nouri and Kilman down the line.

We're going to be pretty <shrug> about letting Cutrone go on a free inside 18 months and he cost £16m. We won't have got a quarter of that back in loan fees and he's done fuck all for us.

Open goal missed by Doherty meantime :D

Absolute joke of a footballer.

I guess it depends on whether you view Fabio as a genuine signing or a financial settlement. As time goes on the more I think it was the latter. The ying to the Jota and Neves yang...all aboard the carousel
